38 Adderley Street, Robertson, Robertson
Sole mandate !!!
The Synagogue in Robertson needs a new owner !
Currently under lease agreement until 31 jan 2025.
This historic building was built during 1895 and 1896 for the Jewish congregation who lived in Robertson at the time. Currently this architectural beacon is being used as a weekend break away with changes (cupboards and basin) made here and there to suit the requirements of the weekender. The building is in absolute excellent keep and totally original, except for the fact that the floor (ground floor) has been replaced with new wooden floors.
The building consists of the following:
As you walk up the stairs from the road side, you enter the Synagogue with magnificent double wooden doors into the foyer. There is a small bathroom on your left hand side with shower basin and toilet. On the right hand side you will find a stunning wooden staircase, leading to the gallery, which is currently utilised as a bedroom.
Through another set of wooden doors, you enter the Synagogue and experience the nostalgia of yesteryear. All the history you cannot comprehend. Lots of wooden framed windows for maximum light. Double volume wooden ceiling with wrap around gallery. There is enough space to convert the space into more rooms, but as is, it is just fantastic to look at and to enjoy.
This property is not just a building. Come and experience it your self.
